About

Hi, I’m Jocelyn. I’m a Guelph-based Postpartum Doula.

I have a Master of Arts in Labour Relations and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and Global Studies.

Previous to this I’ve worked in the Automotive Manufacturing and Food and Beverage Warehousing, and Transportation industries in Health and Safety and Disability Management Roles.

But I always knew something was missing – for as long as I can remember I’ve had this desire to help women succeed. I want to open up space and break down barriers for women. I want to help them thrive and be their best selves!

I remember feeling so lost after I had my first little girl – like I had been left to fend for myself with this new baby while everyone was busy living their life.

It was at that point that I started to find my place as a doula. Well, honestly it was then that I started thinking about becoming a doula. The actual practical process didn’t start until April 2018 a few months after I had my second daughter.

Who am I? I am here for you. I am empathetic and compassionate. I want to see you succeed and thrive. I will do my very best to make that happen for you!

I know that welcoming a baby (or more babies) into your life is one of the most challenging and also rewarding things you can do. Let me help set you up for success.
